Issue Position

This measure is very simple to understand. If we were to compare this bill to drunk driving it would look like this. The people of Maine can prevent drunk driving incidents by making it harder to sober people to buy a car.

The measure puts more restrictions on those who legally want to purchase a gun. Let's send a very strong message to those who continue to push these issues on the people of Maine.

Criminals don't care! If you make it harder to law abiding citizens to purchase guns, the criminals don't care because they aren't following the rules anyway!

This measure will make you a criminal if you borrow a friends hunting rifle, or house sit while they are out of town if they have a gun in the house.

VOTE NO on this out of state sponsored gun rights removal bill.
